About Daniel Chen

I am currently a Co-Founder of and Chief Scientist at Fabricate. Previously, I was a Researcher at Anything in SF, where I led evaluation research for our AI agents, measuring automatic refactoring correctness, merge conflict resolution, file reranking, full-stack capabilities, and design quality. I also built a classifier model for font identification. Before that, I worked on high scale systems and quantitative modelling at Citadel Securities in New York City. I went to the University of Waterloo a long time ago.

I am mainly interested in understanding how the world works. This usually involves the Scientific Method.
